What do you do when you have been one of the industry's leading companies in luxury travel for 50 years? Why, you have a celebration of course, which is exactly what Preferred Hotels & Resorts are doing to celebrate their Golden anniversary.
Now with over 650 member hotels in 85 countries, Preferred Hotels & Resorts have enjoyed major growth over the past half century and can now boast claim to the fact that they have a presence in every region in the world.
So going back to the 50 year celebrations, just what do they have in mind? Well, to start with, they are celebrating their Golden Anniversary with a year long set of celebrations. To start with, they giving you a present in the form of a year long Golden Anniversary package where you can enjoy the hotel of your choice's best available rate, plus a $50 hotel credit or 50-minute complimentary activity at one of the 200 plus participating hotels worldwide. Not sure what they have in mind in terms of activities? How about a Champagne sabering and tasting class at The Franklin London or a Japanese lesson at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo.
The fun doesn't stop there either as part of the year-long celebrations include a whopping 50,000 bonus point promotion scheme for members of the I Prefer hotel rewards when they book a minimum two-night stay using the website by the end of this month.
Last but not least, for the very first time, Preferred Hotels & Resorts are launching a unique video series called 'Inspiring Travel for 50 Years.' On a monthly basis, two short videos will be released across their digital and social media platforms, following different couples throughout their time at one of the many Preferred hotels, showing the true meaning of #thepreferredlife.
