In an industry first, Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities in print have been brought to Asia through HighEnd Media’s very own ‘HighEnd Media AR’ app.

The ‘HighEnd Media AR’ app works specifically with specially marked pages in its published magazines. With the app, readers will be able to experience the timepieces feautured on the covers via highly detailed 3D renderings, simply by pointing the rear cameras of their tablets or mobile phones at the AR-enabled pages. Using their mobile devices, readers can pore over details of the watches, see how the timepieces look on their wrists, and share AR wrist shots via social media.

Billionaire Singapore’s June The Future issue features the Montblanc Summit smartwatch in AR on the cover.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Download the app from Apple of Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and point the camera at pages with the AR-enabled logo like the June issue cover of Billionaire Singapore.
3. See the timepiece pop up in 3D and tilt your device to view the image from all angles.
4. You can also snap a picture or record a video, and share them instantly on social media and to your friends.

To give this exciting feature a try, you can head to the Montblanc Summit pop-up store from 16 to 25 June 2017 at B1 Takashimaya Shopping Centre as The Future Issue of Billionaire Singapore will be displayed alongside the Montblanc Summit. Visitors can not only try out the AR-enabled pages but also test the Summit, Montblanc’s first smartwatch.
