Republic

According to this new supping spot in the newly refurbished East Wing of of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore: "The Republic bar concept pays homage to this era where freedom, expression and individuality were celebrated, with a cocktail menu that showcases flavours, ingredients and sensations inspired by the influential hallmarks of the 1960s, and around four cultural epicentres of importance and meaningful change." When it comes to the drinks, there's the rum based City Circuit in homage to the Grand Prix, which was started in 1961 and the Timless Beauty, inspired by the Sarong Kebaya made from batik silk was frst worn in the air in 1968.

 

Levant

While the nearest most of us will get to the Mediterranean this Summer is through scrolling past friends Instragram pictures through gritted teeth, the super fabulous Il Lido Group have given us the next best thing with Levant. Perched at the top of ST Signature in Tanjong Pagar, not only does it boast stellar views, but thanks to the Middle East meets Mediterranean inspiration, you can enjoy mezze a plenty, washed down with the likes of Medusa's Glaze - a combination of dark rum and ginger and Athena's Olive Branch - a gin, madeira and olive air concoction. 

 

 Firangi Superstar

Already one of the hottest dining spots in town, Firangi Superstar doesn't miss a beat as its cocktail part is every bit as thoughtfully put together and elegantly executed as its big sister dining spot. Continuing with the Modern Indian inspiration that runs through the decor and the food, the cocktails are every bit as innovative and delicious as fans of this venue would expect. With each cocktail coming with a 'Poison' level to tell you how strong you can expect your head to spin, we love the sound of the Curry Leaf Boulevander which combines coconut bourbon, curry leaf, sweet vermouth, campari and angostora and the 'Highly Toxic' Fenugreek Manhattan which is a mixture of Ghee cognac, bourbon, fenugreek vermouth, maple and molasses.
