SLIDESHOW: The whole restaurant at Ce La Vi will be closed specially for the private dinner.
If you had US$2 million to spare, what would you spend it on? Most people would spend it on the usual big ticket items like a condominium or perhaps a classic car. Here’s one option to consider: dinner.
But this isn’t just any dinner — organised by Ce La Vi Singapore at Marina Bay Sands, the eight-hour experience begins with a scenic helicopter ride around Singapore before transitioning to a chauffeured drive in a Rolls-Royce and a private cruise. Upon arriving at Ce La Vi, the couple will be greeted by 10,000 fresh roses and the venue’s stunning panoramic view.
The whole establishment will be closed specially for the private dinner. Beginning at sunset, it will feature an elaborate 18-course modern Asian degustation menu and will be paired with exceptional wines including a 1961 Chateau Haut-Brion and a 1972 Oremus Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos. At midnight, diners will be presented with the Jane Seymour, a rare 2.08 carat Fancy Vivid Blue diamond ring by World Of Diamonds group, and Louis XIII de Rémy Martin cognac. The occasion will also come with a special fireworks display. Other exclusives to the dinner include custom-designed furniture by The Plush and diamond studded chopsticks.
But just because you can afford the hefty price tag, it doesn’t mean you will be able to experience this dinner — it will only be sold to an individual that has been vetted by both the diamond company and Ce La Vi. And from what we hear, this will only be available to one lucky couple. Now that’s an exclusive dining experience like no other.
Ce La Vi Singapore is owned by L Capital Asia, a private equity business sponsored by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. It recently celebrated its 6th anniversary in July 2016.
