Make-A-Wish Singapore has been announced as the beneficiary of Amber Lounge’s first charity fashion show in the city-state, which will take place at Temasek Reflections on 16 September 2017.
In conjunction with the 10th anniversary celebrations of Formula 1 in Singapore, the fashion show replicates the annual Amber Lounge Charity Fashion Show at the Monaco Grand Prix, which raised over US$500,000 this year. Amber Lounge’s historic fundraising efforts have raised over US$5 million.
At the Amber Lounge Singapore charity event, leading figures from Formula 1, sport professionals, and CEOs of global companies will come together to support Make-A-Wish Singapore through a silent auction. An array of iconic items and money-can’t-buy experiences have been donated, with the single objective of raising wish-granting funds.
Sonia Irvine, CEO of Amber Lounge, said: “I am extremely proud and humbled that Amber Lounge will unite with Make-A-Wish Singapore for this year’s Fashion Show. The work the foundation does to enrich the lives of these young children is phenomenal and I hope that by lending our support we can raise much needed funds to help make a great many more wishes come true.”
