The Macallan Experience at Raffles Hotel Singapore
One for whisky lovers out there.
The art of enjoyment extends way beyond simple pleasure, it involves all our sensory including memory and experience. While a simple visit to a vineyard to find some new fine wines or to Scotland or Japan to pick up a new single malt might be out of reach at the moment, Macallan bring us the next best thing with The Macallan at Raffles Hotel Singapore.
Open from now until 10th February 2021, whisky lovers can go on an immersive, multi-sensorial journey from the very beginning of the process to the first drop. The experience begins in Southern Spain where you will meet the craftsmen behind the famous whisky casks before whizzing you off in the state-of-the-art cinema to feel the passion behind the tasting experience as you witness the dedication of the whole team to produce the finest single malts. As if all this wasn’t exciting enough, there is also a showcase of The Macallan’s rare collections including The Macallan 72 years old in Lalique and the Raffles Hotel Singapore Edition.
And, if all this wasn’t enough, if you fancy a wee dram, you can take a tasting in the form of a private master class or even a private VIP dining experience with cuisine carefully selected by Pierre Burgade, Executive Chef of Raffles Hotel Singapore.
Speaking of this new experience, Francois Saurel, Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Edrington said, “For the first time, we can reveal and share stories of The Macallan in a truly immersive, inspiring and memorable way. The Macallan Experience is far more than a brand exhibition or tasting experience; it has been curated entirely to bring our stories and heritage to life through a narrative that takes drinkers into the depths of The Macallan, revealing what makes it the exceptional single malt it is today. This unique immersive experience also allows us to share stories from around the world which demonstrate the power of bravery and courage in shaping lives, experiences and progression.”
