The affects of Russia's invasion of Ukraine are being felt far and wide.

Although half a world away, the effects of Russia's senseless attack on Ukraine are being felt far and wide. With leaders across the globe banding together and putting sanctions on oil-rich Russia in a bid to stem their financial flow, one way people are really feeling the heat is with petrol prices.

With prices hitting an all-time recent high on Monday, March 14th, 95-octane petrol cost S$3.19 a litre vs $2.76 in February, before the invasion.

While an exact rise amount is still set to be revealed, it is rumoured that basic trips will rise by S$0.50, Premium trips by $0.80 and XL trips by S$90 by the end of the month.
