It's the latest big news from Singapore's largest mixed martial arts company.

Alongside Japan’s largest global advertising agency, Dentsu Inc, ONE Championship looks set to invest an impressive $50m to create a global esports series, ONE esports.

The deal will turn the proposed company, ONE eSpots into Asia's largest global eSports Championship series and will house a variety of blockbuster game titles across Asia. Speaking of the venture, ONE Championship said that they will use their 30 strong martial arts events to be staged across a variety of cities including Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta and Shanghai and use the channel to broadcast them. On top of this, the channel looks set to broadcast reality shows, documentaries, video blogs and a whole host of unique content, ensuring there truly is something for everyone.

Speaking of the venture, ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said: “We see a natural crossover between martial arts and gaming fans in Asia and an opportunity to bring them together under Asia’s home of millennial live sports."
