The World’s Leading Green City Hotel Is In Singapore

And it's the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering.

For the third year in a row, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering has been voted the World's Leading Green City Hotel at the World Travel Awards. Voted by travel industry experts, the awards are seen as the 'OSCARS' of the travel world and are known as a hallmark of travel excellence.

So just how did it win this award? Well, it's the very first hotel with zero-energy skygardens which are powered by a gravity-driven irrigation from a rainwater harvesting system alongside solar energy. Then inside the hotel, rooms are equipped with light and motion sensors which conserve energy and as much food as possible is locally-sourced and ingredients are organic plant-based options, some of which come from the hotel's very own herb garden.

To celebrate the win, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering is offering guests a 'Green City' staycation that will nourish your body as well as your mind with a whole host of specially curated activities, unique to the hotel and its specialities. While we can't give too much away, we can tell you that some of the things on offer are a 30-minute mixologist or cooking class under the careful guidance of the in-house team at the Lime restaurant as well as daily pool-snack surprises and an architectural tour that will explain the hotel's unique design. The offer will run until the end of the year.
